AMB96 Hawaii: WindDESCRIPTION: Imagine you're at 8,000 feet on a lava flow so recent, it's almost still warm. There's a massive 14,000 ft volcano on either side of you. And where you're standing there are many overlapping flows of different ages, that make up a multicolored lava field. I place the mics in lava caves, small lava tubes, and scrappy brush and in delicate deciduous trees that somehow grow straight outta the lava. Out of nowhere, wind whips across the
