This rod feels like a very nice medium to medium fast dry fly action a good casting rod. Flamed brown with darker mottling throughout. Impregnated blank with matte finish, garnet red wraps which are black at the ferrules. Oxidized super Z style ferrules. Western style grip. "Thomas & Thomas Makers" stamped on great looking nickel silver uplocking screwlock
