Modern framing and custom cut mat, framed by Richard G. MacDonald, Dorchester, Massachusetts. Original painting done on the ceiling of the royal academy, one of four allegorical paintings depicting the components of painting: invention, composition, design, and color. Another copy of this print was featured in the Grosvenor prints christmas
