18th century Spanish bowl - No9I have been lucky enough to find a great collection of these stunning 18th century blue and white Spanish bowls. Decorated with floral and abstract decoration making them hugely decorative. All have minor issues with their condition but to me things like the stapled repairs only add to the pieces. All solid condition. This example is 25cm Diameter 8cm Height
This is a very attractive well proportioned Napoleon III buttoned square back
The strong glazes are caused by the smelting pots being regularly heated and then cooled which causes a reaction with what is being melted
